New Camera

That's right! I finally got a new camera! Nikon Coolpix. AND IT'S RED!! I love it!! Here are just a few pictures that I took to "try it out". Did I mention that I love it?!? I'm so excited!!

My garden is getting so big. I'm so proud!

David worked so hard to put dirt and mulch around the tree in the back that was a pain to mow around. I looks so much better now.

Two of my awesome friends Shelby & Mandi.

Trying out the new camera's different color options. Lovin' the black and white!

I redid the curtains in the living room a bit to lighten things up for Summer. I also rearranged the living room...surprise, surprise!!

Rummage Sale/Camera Advice needed...

Wow! Who would've thought that someone could wear Water Babies 50 and still get sunburned?!? Oh yeah...that's right...fair skinned ME!! I was even sitting in the shade for the majority of the day! Crazy! Good news is that the 1st day of the rummage was a huge success! SO EXCITED! I am even closer to getting a new camera. I have to research to find the best one for the best price to do everything that I want to do...take LOTS of pictures. :) Any suggestions are much appreciated! What kind of camera do you use? What kind of batteries do you use? I thought my problem with this camera was batteries, but after putting brand new batteries in and it still didn't work, I'm not sure what is wrong with it. Well, any advice you have would be great!

Hugs!!

Crazy Changes

My mother & father in love came to visit us from Iowa over Memorial Day weekend and helped us with tons of projects around the house. Moose and Dave installed a light kit in the back bedroom, a ceiling fan in the guest room and then we tackeled moving the 7 tons of dirt around the house. Here are several before pictures (some from when we first moved in), and then the "after" pictures. There is still a lot to be done (edging, mulching, and figuring out what we want to do with the back "rock hill"). Still trying to decide if we want a retaining wall, or just grass it over.
Tree on its way out...

Before the tree came down, it was in the power lines.

The amazon..I mean back yard before I got-a-hold of it.

Back of house after Memorial Day work

Back yard before we moved in. Check out the clothes line in the middle of the yard.

Look...no clothesline poles cluttering up the back yard!

Lots of flowers to be planted.

Grapevine tree that I made

LOOK...WE'VE GOT CORN!!

AND CUCUMBERS AND TOMATOES!

My camera is officially done. Good thing my birthday is next week so hopefully I will get some birthday money to go get myself a new one to finish taking pictures of all the fun updates. Until then, have a blessed day!! Hugs!

God is amazing! Not only did he make us all different with special characteristics, he did the same for the plants and flowers that we enjoy. So pretty!
