Okay. I have been soooo inspired over the past couple of months. Several inspiring sources...Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks, Aunt Ruthie's Sugar Pie Farmhouse, and my awesome friend, Nicole. I love them all!!!!! I finally had to just make a list and start working my way through it. I am working on our guest room (ongoing) to make it my craft room with a place for everything (sewing, beading, hot glue-ing, knitting, crocheting, painting/crafting). It is a very overwhelming job, and is taking lots of patience. Its coming along, though. Now if I could just find the table of my dreams that is the right height for rotary cutting, gluing and other crafting, I would be set!
I have also started 2 boxes of stuff that I am going to sell at our town rummage in June. I figured if I sell some stuff, I can make room and make money to get some new stuff. I love the way I think :)
These are my new picket fence panels that our awesome Uncle Tim found for us. I know exactly where one is going, and we are searching the perfect place for the 2nd one.
Our next door neighbors were cleaning out their new yard and trimmed back their grapevine, so I was blessed to get their clippings. I have plans for a grapevine tree for the front porch, and maybe a wreath or two. We'll see :)

Now for the one project that I have completed so far. This is my cutting board chalk board. I taped off my area, primed and painted with chalkboard paint. Add a little ribbon and buttons, and I have my sweet little farmhouse chalkboard. Now, I just need to get the chalkboard markers and I will be all set. The paint was really easy to work with and I can check one project off my list. Yipee!! SOOOOO CUTE!! Along with my cute little wire basket that I got at Treasured Dreams Cottage (I added the ribbon at the top). I have plans to make some fabric eggs (with a little hot glue and Easter eggs) to go in it. Its on my list. :)

My friend Nicole found this idea for a stick fence, and boy am I glad that she did. I have a little trim work to do, and embellishments, but it is awesome and I love it!! And guess what...my husband made it for me. I had it all laid out, but just needed to put it together (when I found time). I was at a Women's Retreat with my church on Friday, and when I got home that night...this is what I found. He sure does surprise me sometimes, and he couldn't have picked a better time to surprise me. It was an awesome retreat, and very emotional for some of my friends. AWESOME!
Well, that is all from the cabin for tonight. I'll try to update with more projects as I get them all completed. I have rearranged the living room, and need to put pics of that up. If you are looking for inspiration, please check out the Sugar Pie Farmhouse and my friend Nicole's blog. Both links are to the right (Culvers & A Crow, and Sugar Pie Farmhouse). I am loving blog-land and it is so amazing to see that there are tons of blogs out there that are right up your alley (no matter what your "alley" may be today). Have a blessed day!! See ya soon!!
