I love Fall!!! It is so crisp and cool and beautiful!! Today we had our annual Fall Festival at church and the day was perfect. 60s, sunny and the most wonderful group of people. Of course, it was a group of Hillbillies, but they are wonderful Hillbillies. The theme was Hillbilly Heaven. We got to have some awesome fellowship with friends and I got to finally have some "blog talk" with my friend Nicole. I hope that my blog is looking better. (Thanks Nicole!!)
Its days like today that make me so thankful to live where I do, be free to worship my Jesus where and when I want, be married to the man God created for me and to just be me. Have you ever had one of those days where you just feel God everywhere? Today is one of those days for me. He is in the breeze. Did I mention that I love fall?!?!

Busy Summer
Okay. Lots to catch up on....its been a busy summer. First, I have been working 3 jobs. Its actually been pretty fun. I am still working at Treasured Dreams Cottage and loving it! We are getting ready to decorate for fall and I cannot wait!! FALL IS AWESOME!! I also am working part time for Heartland Career Center in their Adult Education Program as an aid in the GED classroom. I am helping adults get their GED. Needless to say, it is very entertaining and pretty rewarding. Third, I am the new secretary at Richvalley United Methodist Church. They just got a new pastor and are really trying to bring new families into the church and grow. They average about 65 people each Sunday. It is really exciting to be on the ground floor of growth for Jesus. I am excited! Along with all the jobs, David's mom and dad came out over Memorial Day weekend to help us with some projects (new vent fan in the bathroom, ceiling fan in the bedroom, dug a trench out back and put tile down for drainage, cut out dying bushes, trimmed trees, planted flowers, made a curtain for the bathroom and one for the kitchen). Busy...busy!! (pictures to follow)
David surprised me for my 30th birthday by taking me out to eat at Logan's Roadhouse (my favorite) and when we got there, he had also invited some of our friends. It was great!!
Mom, Dad, Granny, Grandaddy & Ginni Ellen came out the last weekend in June for some antique-ing, grilling and just visiting (pictures to follow).
David has been pretty busy himself. He started teaching Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University back in July and it has already been wonderful for so many people. If you haven't heard of it or if you are having financial issues, or if you are living paycheck to paycheck, you should check it out: www.daveramsey.com You won't be disappointed. It is changing lives all over the nation. I wish our government would ask him for his advice :)
David also has been playing in a golf league and has really enjoyed that too. He has had some really good scores.
Here are some pictures to finish out the post. Enjoy!
Pictures from when mom, dad, granny & grandaddy and Ginni Ellen came out to visit.
Aren't they cute!!

Next year, I am going to have a real garden, but for this year, crazy & out of control tomato plants will have to do :)
Some more crazy tomato plants with some other pretties in place of overgrown and dying shrubs.
The purple petunias are taking over the geraniums.

(I didn't download my before and after pictures correctly, and then I ran out of time to fix them, but you get the idea) I'll post more pictures when I get my camera fixed.
This is God's Word on the subject: "I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. Yes, when you get seriouse about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed...you can count on it." Jeremiah 29:11-14 (The Message)
