I know it has been a while since my last post, but I have been a little busy. A few weeks ago, I flew to Fincastle to visit my family who had a stressful few weeks. My grandaddy was in the hospital for a little while and then moved to a nursing home to deal with a kidney stone and granny had a catarac removed all at the same time. Mom was starting to feel the strain of everything, so I flew in to try to help out. It was one of the best trips I've had. Thanks mom for a great trip!! As always, I get inspired to decorate and rearrange when I go home to Botetourt to mom's house. For those who haven't had the privilege of seeing my mom's house, I'll try to post some pictures sometime, but just know that antiques, primitives and handmade wallhangings are wall to wall :) It is wonderful! So, I was inspired to do some rearranging and new decorating in our home. There are still a couple of things left to do, since I spent all day Thursday doing projects outside in the BEAUTIFUL weather, but I have some days off next week so I will take care of the rest then. Here are just a few of what I did Wednesday.
The Coke crate on top of the fridge used to be larger, but I did some demo on
it to make it fit on top of the fridge and hold my cookbooks.
I put some dishes in another cabinet to make room for the old fashionedpictures of Isaiah that we got for Christmas a couple of years ago.
